Why Choose Our Shed Demolition and Removal?

Old sheds take up valuable yard space and become eyesores over time. Whether it's a prefab teardown of a metal storage building or the demolition of a custom-built wooden shed with a concrete foundation, our crew handles the entire process — roofing strip, wall panel breakdown, foundation demolition, and haul-off included.

Want It Gone provides complete shed demolition across Citrus County, The Villages, and the greater Ocala area. We don't just knock it down — we carefully dismantle, sort materials for recycling, haul everything away, and restore the footprint so your yard looks clean.

Our Shed Demolition Process

  1. 1
Free on-site assessment. We evaluate the shed's construction, foundation type, and access to give you an accurate quote.
  2. 2
Roofing strip and wall panel breakdown. We systematically dismantle the structure from the top down.
  3. 3
Concrete pad removal if applicable. We break up and remove the foundation, footings, or pier blocks.
  4. 4
Haul-off and footprint restoration. All debris hauled away and the area graded clean.

Door and window salvage available on request. If your shed has components worth keeping — quality lumber, usable doors, or windows — just let us know and we'll set them aside during demolition.

Need a larger structure demolished? We also handle complete mobile home teardown and removal and barn demolition with timber salvage.

FAQs

How much does shed demolition cost?
Shed demolition pricing depends on the size, construction material, and whether it includes a concrete pad or foundation. A standard prefab teardown typically costs less than a custom-built shed with a concrete foundation. We provide free on-site estimates.
Do you remove the concrete pad under the shed?
Yes. Concrete pad removal and foundation demolition are services we offer. We can break up and haul away the slab, footings, or piers that the shed sits on, leaving the area level and clean.
How long does shed demolition take?
Most shed demolition jobs take half a day to a full day depending on size and construction. Small prefab sheds can be torn down and hauled in a few hours. Larger custom sheds with foundations take longer.
Can you salvage any materials from my shed?
If you'd like specific materials saved — good lumber, doors, windows, or hardware — let us know before we start. We can set those aside during the door/window salvage process. Otherwise, we sort for recycling and dispose of the rest.
Will you restore the area after the shed is gone?
Yes. Footprint restoration is included. We remove all debris, grade the surface, and leave the area clean and level. You'll never know a shed was there.
