Hassle-Free Appliance Removal
Old appliances are heavy, bulky, and often contain materials that require special disposal. Most trash services won't pick them up curbside, and hauling them yourself means finding a truck, loading a 200+ pound refrigerator, and figuring out where to take it for proper recycling. We handle all of that for you.
Want It Gone provides EPA-compliant appliance disposal for homes and businesses across Central Florida. We handle refrigerant recovery from Freon-containing units, route recyclable metals and components to a certified recycling facility, and ensure everything is disposed of according to EPA disposal guidelines.

- Do you handle Freon disposal for refrigerators?
- Yes. Freon disposal compliance is built into our appliance removal process. Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners containing refrigerant are handled according to EPA disposal guidelines and taken to a certified recycling facility for proper recovery.
- Will you disconnect appliances before removal?
- We handle basic disconnection for most appliances — unplugging, disconnecting water lines for washers, and similar tasks. For gas appliances or hardwired units, we recommend having a licensed technician handle the disconnect before we arrive.
- What appliances do you take?
- We remove all major household appliances: refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, water heaters, air conditioning units, and more. Commercial appliances are accepted too.
- How long does appliance removal take?
- Most appliance removal jobs take 30-60 minutes from arrival to departure. Single-unit pickups are quick. Multiple appliance jobs or units in difficult locations (upstairs, tight spaces) take a bit longer.
